Unique, fine art watercolour painting training for Primary teachers and TA’s.
Founded in 2010 and awarded ‘Outstanding’ from Ofsted. Featured in Sir James Ratcliffe’s’ INEOS ‘Forgotten 40% of schools’ magazine as a high-quality provider who “Offers pupils the chance to picture a different world, and trains thousands of enthusiastic children.” Hugh’s training has been described in the Times Educational Supplement as ‘Remarkable.’
Hugh Templeton Training has worked with LEA’s; educational establishments, Primary schools and adult education throughout the UK, in the USA, and in Istanbul.
As a speaker, Hugh Templeton offers live talks (and via Zoom) on watercolours, including ‘Why do we have the desire to paint.’ Hugh has spoken and trained medical staff in the importance of ‘art as a recreational therapy’ for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. He has also presented demonstrations and spoken on watercolour painting for Cunard aboard the QE2.
Awarded an art education degree with distinction from the University of Manchester. His training is accredited by the CPD Standards office and has been nominated for training provider of the year 2023. The former chairman of the board of directors for the American Road Scholar/saga educational holiday company Eugene S. Mills said “We were proud to have Hugh work for us, he was an asset to our company.”
