Description:

Verity is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Founded in 1997, Verity is a patient-led organisation that provides trusted information, peer support, advocacy, and education to support better understanding and care of PCOS.

Our work focuses on three core areas:

  • Empowering patients through accessible, evidence-based resources and support networks
  • Raising awareness of PCOS among the public, healthcare professionals, and policymakers
  • Improving standards of care by delivering professional education and amplifying the patient voice

PCOS affects around 1 in 8 women in the UK and is one of the most underdiagnosed and misunderstood endocrine disorders. Verity exists to change that by bridging the gap between patients and professionals, and driving improvements in diagnosis, management, and long-term outcomes.
