About the Course
System Operational Effectiveness: A Practical Approach explores the concept and importance of system operational effectiveness within System Engineering. While academic engineering programs provide theoretical knowledge essential for various roles, they often overlook the practicalities of a system’s life cycle including working processes, logistics and maintenance.
This course aims to bridge that gap by raising awareness and understanding of system operational effectiveness. Learners will gain a deeper appreciation for the needs of system maintainers and the system life cycle. Ultimately, this knowledge will help a system maintain optimal performance, remain cost-effective, be environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient throughout its life cycle.
The course is self-led and self-paced, offering a modular e-learning experience. It’s system-generic and designed for learners of all abilities, delivering easy-to-learn lessons in modules. This allows learners to complete the course over time rather than committing to continuous study.
On Completion
Upon completion, learners will be able to demonstrate their commitment and achievement in the foundational knowledge of system operational effectiveness.
This foundational knowledge also serves as a primer for the sophisticated software modelling tools used today to optimise system spares, simulate maintenance operations and predict and analyse system life cycle costs.
As an accredited Continuous Professional Development (CPD) provider, Supportability Engineering Training will award an Official CPD Certificate and 23 hours of CPD credits. These credits will be added to a learner’s CPD portfolio. Those without a CPD portfolio can include the course on their CV as proof of their commitment to continuous learning.
