Description:

Providing CPD-accredited loneliness awareness and connection training for workplaces, public sector organisations, and community professionals. Marmalade Trust’s courses equip staff with practical skills to understand loneliness, recognise its signs, and take meaningful action to strengthen connection and belonging in the people they support and the teams they work within.

Our training helps organisations answer key questions such as: what is loneliness and why does it matter for health, wellbeing, and performance? How can staff recognise when someone may be experiencing loneliness? What practical steps reduce stigma and support connection in workplaces and services? Learners gain a clear, evidence-informed framework and immediately applicable approaches that build confidence in addressing loneliness with sensitivity and effectiveness.

Marmalade Trust is a leading UK loneliness charity and the founder of Loneliness Awareness Week, reaching millions annually. Our training is grounded in research and extensive frontline experience supporting individuals experiencing loneliness across communities and workplaces. We partner with employers, local authorities, education providers, and national organisations to strengthen understanding, culture, and practice around loneliness and connection.

Training is delivered by an experienced facilitator with expertise in education and social connection.
