Active Stories works with schools and nurseries, delivering a 3-hour CPD course that equips practitioners with the skills to run structured physical activity sessions using storytelling.

The course focuses on physical development and language acquisition, showing staff how to guide children through sporting activities linked to stories. This helps keep children engaged while developing coordination, movement skills, communication and teamwork.

• A3 story book with linked physical activities – (every page of the story is an activity the children help the character complete).

By the end of the course, practitioners should feel confident delivering Active Stories sessions in a way that suits their setting — either running a complete story-based session (around 45 minutes) or selecting activities to fit shorter sessions depending on space, time and group size.

The one-off fee is £1,500, which covers training for your whole staff team, all course materials and CPD certification on completion.
