Who should attend

This course is designed for professionals who work with women whose engagement with learning or employment is affected by domestic abuse, whether or not that abuse is disclosed, recorded, or recognised in their current systems.

It is directly relevant to:

 	<li>Further education and adult learning staff, including tutors, learning support and safeguarding leads, learner services and pastoral teams, and curriculum or widening-participation managers responsible for retention and achievement.</li>
 	<li>Employment and skills professionals, including advisers, coaches, work-coach and Restart-type programme staff, and those delivering funded skills or return-to-work provision.</li>
 	<li>Local authority and community teams working with vulnerable adults, including family support, early help, and cost-of-living or hardship-facing services.</li>
 	<li>Frontline and specialist practitioners in the wider support system, including domestic abuse workers, housing and homelessness staff, and advice-sector caseworkers who see the learning and employment consequences of abuse but may not have a framework for addressing them.</li>

The Intersectionality Learning College Ltd (TILC) is a specialist continuing professional development, consultancy, and institutional training provider based in Bedfordshire and working with organisations across England.

TILC was founded to close a gap most institutions cannot yet see or count: the Domestic Abuse Learner Disadvantage Gap (DALDG™). This is the measurable disadvantage carried by learners and service users affected by domestic abuse, whose circumstances too often go unrecorded, mislabelled, or unaddressed by the very systems meant to support them.

Our accredited CPD equips professionals across further education, local authorities, and regulated industries such as energy, financial services, housing, and debt recovery to recognise, record, and respond to domestic abuse and trauma in the places their current systems miss it. Every programme is built on frameworks developed in-house, including the DALF–System™, the Dysregulated System Framework™, and Vulnerability Beyond the Label™.

TILC is a City & Guilds Approved Centre, accredited by the CPD Standards Office, and holds the AIM Quality Mark, meaning our training meets independently verified standards for quality, assessment, and professional development.
