BEAM (Built Environment and Architecture Media) is a new enterprise committed to supporting and championing our professional community as it grapples with the challenges and opportunities of these uncertain times.
BEAM was born of a belief that the problems of the age call for creative solutions, collective endeavour, inter-disciplinary collaboration and the exchange of technical and scientific knowledge and expertise.
Our mission is to inspire and inform, to nurture debate and dialogue and to act as a catalyst for change.
Our portfolio includes Architecture Today, Construction Marketing Awards and School of Specification. School of Specification (SOS) is a new learning platform for the construction industry that explains the technical and philosophical approaches to specification in an accessible and engaging way.
SOS offers a rolling programme of learning modules focussing on a particular aspect of specification, ranging from contracts and insurance to building materials and technologies.
