Description:
Growing Bright trains non-technical professionals to use artificial intelligence safely and effectively in daily work. Founded by Annice Silimon, ABD, MBA, PSM I, Certified AI Consultant, the practice delivers live instructor-led programs, whole-staff institutional training, and AI adoption consulting.
Annice brings more than a decade of classroom and corporate training delivery to her AI work. She has delivered over 300 three-day professional development programs in the K-12 sector on technology implementation in the classroom, and has trained school systems, government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations and individual professionals. She has trained more than 100 professionals in applied AI specifically, and has built more than 100 custom AI assistants for client and teaching use.
Her credentials span both the technology and the teaching of it. She is a Certified Artificial Intelligence Consultant (AI InnoVision) and holds Anthropic certification in the AI Fluency Framework, including Teaching the AI Fluency Framework, AI Fluency for Educators and AI Fluency for Nonprofits. She has completed Generative AI for Business Leaders through Microsoft and NASBA, and has been a Professional Scrum Master since 2022.
Growing Bright also establishes community AI hubs in partnership with faith-based and community organizations, bringing practical AI education to people who would not otherwise encounter it. The same standard of training is delivered to a Fortune 500 team, a school staff room and a community center.
The teaching approach is practical throughout. Learners do not watch recorded lectures and sit a quiz. They bring their own work into live sessions and leave with something built: a prompt library, a working automation, a professional portfolio, a finished project applied to their actual role.
Every program is platform-agnostic. Learners build fluency across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, and learn to choose the right tool for each job rather than depending on a single vendor. Responsible use is taught throughout, not added at the end, through five ethical pillars: Transparency, Accountability, Fairness, Privacy and Human Oversight.
