Description:

I provide 1 to 1 coaching, professional supervision, and mental health support for individuals, coaches, counsellors, and helping professionals who want expert guidance as they grow, face challenges, and develop their practice.

HeadGym Ltd focuses on solution focused, NLP based, and integrative coaching for people of all ages who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and complex mental health needs. I also offer individual and group supervision for new and developing practitioners, bringing together clinical understanding and more than 14 years of practical frontline experience. My CPD accredited services help individuals make real progress and help coaches build confidence, manage tricky situations, and move past imposter syndrome.

Many people facing anxiety, depression, or neurodiversity challenges don’t benefit from standard approaches. They need someone who understands the layers beneath the surface and who can work with the reality of what they’re experiencing. My coaching is built around what actually creates long term change, supporting clients with mental health, relationships, career challenges, education barriers, and personal development.

Newly trained coaches often step into client work with high expectations but very little support. Real practice brings emotional pressure, ethical decisions, resistant clients, and moments where you wonder if you’re in over your head. Quality supervision gives you a safe space to reflect, learn, and grow so you can protect your clients and your professional reputation.

Clinical supervision strengthens coaching practice by giving you space to explore your work with an experienced supervisor and build the skills that turn good coaches into great ones. My supervision model draws from well established evidence based frameworks including Proctor, Hawkins and Shohet, and solution focused approaches, adapted specifically for coaching environments.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in mental health support, coaching, and clinical supervision. I hold a BPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision, accredited by the British Psychological Society to RAPPS standards, and I am certified by the CPD Standards Office. As an NLP Master Practitioner and founder of HeadGym Ltd, I have supported clients across many age groups and supervised practitioners in coaching, counselling, and mental health settings.

For 14 years I have coached individuals facing anxiety, depression, neurodiversity related challenges, relationship issues, career transitions, and education barriers. I have worked with vulnerable young people and teens who felt stuck or lost, helping them find hope and direction when nothing else seemed to work. Clients consistently describe breakthrough moments and improvements that had previously felt out of reach.

My background includes founding community mental health projects in Redditch, running mentoring programmes funded by NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, and achieving measurable improvements using WEMWEBS outcome scoring. I have worked with MPs, health commissioners, and community organisations to widen access to mental health support.

My style is straightforward, human, and practical. I don’t focus on theory for the sake of it. I focus on what actually works. I understand the reality of anxiety and depression because I have been through it myself, and that lived experience shapes how I support people today.

HeadGym Ltd also provides workplace wellbeing training for organisations, including councils, unions, and employers involved in Time to Change initiatives and early intervention strategies. I have delivered training internationally, including mental health training in Cambodia, supporting teachers, leaders, and community organisations.

Based in Redditch, UK, with online coaching and supervision available worldwide.
