Description:

ICE Creates specialises in delivering CPD training that helps health, care, education and community professionals build the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to engage people in positive health behaviours. Our accredited training focuses on practical communication, behaviour change, community engagement and vaccination conversations, enabling learners to apply evidence-based approaches in their day-to-day roles.

Our flagship programme, Better Conversations: Vaccinations, supports professionals to have confident, person-centred conversations about vaccination with individuals, families and communities. The course combines behaviour change techniques, communication skills and up-to-date vaccine knowledge, helping learners respond effectively to hesitancy, misinformation and common concerns while maintaining trust and respecting informed choice.

Why is this training important? Frontline professionals are increasingly expected to discuss vaccinations and other health behaviours, often with people who are unsure, anxious or influenced by misinformation. Many professionals understand the facts but have received little training in how to communicate them effectively. Our courses bridge this gap by providing practical tools that improve confidence, support trust-building and strengthen engagement with diverse communities.

In addition to communication skills, our training helps learners understand common vaccine myths, vaccine-preventable diseases, changes to vaccination schedules and the latest public health guidance. This ensures professionals can provide accurate, current information while knowing when and how to signpost to trusted sources.

ICE Creates works with NHS organisations, Integrated Care Boards, local authorities, schools, voluntary and community sector organisations and public health teams across the UK. Our training is informed by real-world delivery experience, behaviour change science, community insight research and extensive engagement with underserved populations. We have supported thousands of professionals to improve their communication skills and contribute to better public health outcomes through evidence-based, person-centred practice.
