International Location Safety (ILS) offers Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT), Travel Safety and Security Training (TSS), Security Risk Management Training (SRMT), Crisis Management Training (CMT) and other bespoke training and risk advisory solutions for the Humanitarian, International Development, and research communities worldwide.
Established by former aid workers in 2010, we deliver our courses from a "person-centred approach" where we understand that people engage with the world, their work, and our training with complex and multifaceted identities, or profiles. These identities can be informed by, for example, gender, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, age and dis/ability.
Today we work in partnership with over 250 NGOs, government agencies, international donors and research organisations around the world. We support them to assess their needs and build their capacity through the delivery of cutting-edge consultancy and training services, delivered online and in-person.
