Description:

Jamie’s Farm is a UK charity working to improve life outcomes for young people facing disadvantage. Founded in 2009 by practitioners in education and psychotherapy, we partner with schools to support young people to thrive both in and beyond the classroom. Today, we operate across seven farms nationwide and have worked with over 20,000 young people.  Our core programme is built around a farm-based residential experience, where young people engage in purposeful work, build positive relationships and receive therapeutic support. This immersive model is complemented by structured follow-up with schools, helping to sustain improvements in wellbeing, relationships, behaviour and engagement with learning.

Building on this extensive practice, we now deliver CPD for educational professionals, extending our impact beyond the young people who come to our farms. Our training equips staff with practical strategies they can apply immediately - to embed relational, attachment-informed and strengths-based approaches into everyday practice, building a stronger sense of belonging and engagement for young people.
Our flagship CPD offer, the Jamie’s Farm Belonging Programme, is offered as a whole-school, year-long partnership with schools. It combines practical in-school training with an immersive learning experience for a small number of staff during a residential visit to one of our farms.  Our training is tailored to the needs and priorities of your school and focuses on three core areas:

  • Building positive relationships

All sessions are grounded in real-world practice and delivered by experienced practitioners, including former teachers, social workers and therapists.
