Offering educational excellence in our online courses on Models of Learning covering various topics in the world of educational psychology including Developmental Learning Processes and Skills, Sensory Perception, Speech Training, Living Patterns and Behavior, Interpersonal Relationships, Cognitive Development and Intelligence, Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Models & Application; and Teach Me English! Foundational Course. Models of Learning is designed to sharpen the instructional teaching-learning skills of both the professionally trained and the practical (not professionally trained) Mentor-Teacher of children and teens. The Teach Me English! Foundational Course is for Mentor-Teachers in early childhood education and for novice adult English language learners.

Our courses provide practical hands-on assignments and project work that the facilitator has mastered over a 30-year teaching-learning period in different parts of the world teaching all kinds of learners from nursery and up to 90 years old.

 

Promised Gift Foundation Online Courses are Facilitated by a seasoned Mentor-Teacher and the team she works with to give you the highest standard instruction in educational psychology in an atmosphere that is friendly, warm, and lots of fun! Our goal is to work with you as partners in discovering your new skills and polishing you old ones.

PROMISED GIFT FOUNDATION focusses on the wholistic development of young people though senior high school. We are acutely aware of the unique educational and social challenges that children and adolescents face on a daily basis and are committed to adapting our organization to train them up and to improve their welfare through our seven-fold project objectives:

 

  1. READING IS FOR ME LITERACY PROMO: To challenge children and teens to read at least four (4) books per month (one per week) through our I-D-E-A-L Teach Me English! Literacy campaign.
  2. LIGHT IN ME PRODUCTIONS: To showcase the artistic potential of young people through performing and visual arts.
  3. I HAVE A DREAM: To develop the public speaking and speech delivery skills in young people building their confidence to effectively communicate their physical, emotional-mental, and social needs and to get them met.
  4. PGF SCHOLARSHIP FUND: To invest in the academic excellence of young people opening doors of opportunity to completing quality education.
  5. CAMP BLESSING RETREATS: To piece together the broken lives of children, especially adolescents, with camp activities including “real talk” discussions about reproductive health, dealing with peer pressure and trauma, and finding their life’s purpose.
  6. OPERATION SERVE OUR NATION: Partnering with other charitable organizations and Individuals--To put into the hands of children and teens (in rural villages, hospitals, orphanages, and on city streets and squatter communities) provisions for healthy living.
  7. ONLINE ACADEMY FOR MENTOR-TEACHERS: To develop the professional teaching and instructing skills of the adults who influence the lives of the children we reach.

Who Should Attend:

Models of Learning is a course for the final year teacher-to-be as well as for graduates fresh out of Teacher Training Colleges who have little practical teaching experience.

It is also a refresher course for the well-seasoned Mentor-Teacher who can contribute his or her own teaching experiences to our online course group.

It is for the Senior High School graduate who seeks a profession in teaching and wants to earn practical experience and/or credit hours to apply before entering a Teacher Training College.

It is also for the SHS graduate who may not be able to afford attending a Teacher Training College and who wants to gain practical teaching-learning skills to work in Private Schools; so this Course is beneficial to Proprietors of Private Schools in training their teachers to have positive impact on their student body.

Models of Learning focuses on the cognitive development of the “whole” person, therefore is a course of study for all Bible School Colleges and Evangelical Training Institutions that develop and graduate pastors and other church workers. It is also for the Mentor-Teacher who desires to understand wholistic educational psychology.
