Sonach Marine Limited

Sonach Marine Limited has over 50 years of experience being in, on and under the sea. Between us, we have sailed, swam, worked and played on every ocean in the world. We have seen the changes in the abundance of marine life, experienced firsthand the impact of climate change and been a significant part of the problem without realising it.

​Now we have created our community interest company, The Sea We See, where we are passionate about changing our impact on the ocean. We want to share our knowledge, learning and love. Through support from our sponsors and funders, we will deliver ocean literacy, environmental awareness and strategies for making change. We will work with schools and community groups of all ages, and create ocean-focused events to engage the community.

We are expanding our services to include CPDs and open water swimming. By adding these 2 new programs, we can deliver more inclusive, more immersive experiences while sharing the Ocean Literacy message. We deliver workshops to businesses, adults and children, focusing on enjoying the marine environment safely and responsibly.

We are committed to sharing our learning about the ocean; our workshops include ocean literacy, working at sea, understanding the blue space, and above all, playing safely at the beach.

We also offer a range of services in project management, marine conservation project support, and coastal management. Our goal is to create a better future for our oceans and the communities that depend on them. Join us in making a difference today.
