Stimulus is founded by Penelope. She is an Animas Accredited Coach and a Clore Social Fellow with 20+ years experience as a leader and 9 years experience in the women and girls sector as Impact Director/ deputy CEO and Chair of trustees of a ‘by and for’ BME women’s charity in the UK. She has lived and worked in the Global South for 33 years. Still I Rise is a leadership programme for professional women from minoritised and marginalised backgrounds. The content and learning has been developed based on the personal and professional experiences of the women whom Penelope has mentored and coached over the years; including her lived experience. She is part of the Gender and Development Network working with sector leaders on the prevention of violence against women and girls. The purpose of the company is to stimulate sustainable change and growth in individuals and organisations. Through coaching, bespoke leadership training programmes, facilitating workshops online and in person, administering surveys, analysis and recommendations based on findings, change and project management.
