Description:

Survivors Of aBuse is a UK-based charity delivering a CPD-accredited, trauma-informed psychoeducational programme designed to support adults affected by abuse.

Our flagship programme, Breaking the Cycle™, provides a structured learning pathway that enables participants to understand the impact of trauma on the brain, body and behaviour, and to apply practical tools to support long-term recovery and wellbeing.

The programme is grounded in a holistic health model and underpinned by a unique seven-pillar framework, integrating research, lived experience and applied practice. It focuses on building awareness, developing self-regulation strategies, and supporting sustainable behaviour change.

Since 2016, Survivors Of aBuse has delivered 15 programme cohorts and supported over 115 participants, alongside ongoing alumni support, masterclasses and continued learning opportunities.

The organisation also contributes to wider conversations around trauma, recovery and safeguarding through engagement in research, policy and professional networks.

Accredited Activities:

  • Breaking the Cycle™ – C.L.E.A.N.E.R.™ Living Psychoeducational Programme (CPD Accredited)
