For over thirty-five years, The Kirkwood has provided outstanding care for the people of Kirklees who are living with or caring for someone with a life-limiting illness. This care is provided through our in-patient unit, in the community with our Clinical Nurse Specialists and our Support & Therapy Team.

Pre and post-bereavement care are also available with our fully qualified Counselling Team.

We focus on enabling those in our care to live the best quality of life possible.

Underpinning this care is a robust and varied programme of learning and education which is available to all healthcare professionals.
