The School Effectiveness Team is a department within Thurrock Council’s Children's Services Corporate directorate.
We work to provide high-quality support, guidance, and training to the Early Years sector. Working in partnership to provide the youngest children get the best start in their early education and firm foundations for life. The School Effectiveness Team are all highly qualified and experienced in the early year's sector. All officers research and develop the training and training materials to ensure they are relevant and high quality.

Our training has the focus for the early years sector, anyone currently or wanting to work with children from 0-5 years. This can include those working or wanting to work in day nurseries, preschools, homebased child care including childminders, school reception and nursery classes.
