Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)

Chemistry is at the centre of everything you can see, smell, touch, and taste.

Whether studying the chemistry of life, or developing the advanced science behind modern technology, chemical scientists use their expertise to improve our health, environment, and daily lives.

Collaboration is essential. The RSC connects scientists with each other and society as a whole, so they can do their best work and make discoveries and innovations happen.

Part of being a Chartered professional is a commitment to maintaining expertise through professional development. To reflect this, the RSC has implemented a mandatory revalidation step for all Chartered Chemists and Chartered Scientists. Revalidation is linked to the annual membership renewal process and every member holding CChem and/or CSci must now verify that they are maintaining professional standards through continuing professional development activities. All members should ensure they reacht their full potential you and will need to take responsibility for managing their own careers.
