The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM)
The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM) UK launched in 2006 and is the governing body for the specialty Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM) in the UK.
Our strategic mission is to promote better health for the public through excellence in musculoskeletal medicine, exercise medicine, and team care.
The FSEM (UK) also represents and supports Sport and Exercise Medicine as a cost-effective approach to the prevention and management of illness and injury.
Physicians’ credit requirements are a minimum of 50 educational credits in any one year, of which 25 must be External. No more than 10 of the 50 credits can be personal. There is no minimum requirement for Internal CPD.
