UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA)

The UKSCA is the only professional body for strength and conditioning professionals in the UK.

They protect the public by:

  • Setting standards for professionals’ education and training and
    practice;
  • Keep a register of professionals, known as ‘accredited members’, who
    meet these standards; and
  • Take action if professionals on our Register do not meet standards.

CPD is linked to accreditation, so members need to meet their CPD standards to stay on the Register. An accredited member must:

  1. Submit a reflective practice CPD log every two years which is
    reviewed by the UKSCA's CPD panel
  2. Demonstrate that their CPD activities are a mixture of learning and
    reflection activities relevant to current or future practice;
  3. Seek to ensure that their CPD has contributed to the quality of their
    practice and delivery, to the benefit of their participants;
