Our courses are suitable for all levels of professionals in the Learning and Development industry who want to benefit from understanding how to create accessible and inclusive learning content. Previous delegates include Learning Developers, Learning Developer managers, Instructional Designers, Content authors, User experience designers, Quality Assurance testers, Subject Matter Experts etc. Our courses are based on the unique eLaHub framework developed for industry-leading text, Designing Accessible Learning Content (https://www.elahub.net/book/)’ by eLaHub Director Susi Miller Course content aligns with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2., providing detailed information to explain specifically how the WCAG guidelines can be applied to eLearning resources. For our eLearning accessibility programme for Articulate 360, delegates learn about the accessibility functionality of the Articulate 360 authoring tools, and how to apply accessibility principles to their content and avoid common accessibility issues. This live training consists of two, 3.5-hour sessions (fundamentals and further steps) which are designed to provide delegates with an understanding of a broad range of accessibility needs and assistive technology, and how to design learning resources with accessibility in mind from the outset. A further wealth of information on accessibility best practices and resources are also provided to delegates as part of the training to ensure they are best placed for their future development of accessible learning content. For our self-access on-demand Designing Accessible Learning Content (DALC) Programme, delegates have the opportunity to explore the topic in greater depth and at their own pace. This course includes over 100 bite-sized lessons over 7 modules and is applicable to all eLearning authoring tools, with downloadable checklists and further resources at each stage. Access to the programme and resources is available to all delegates for 12 months after registration.
