Seddik Abdel Meguid

Seddik Abdel Meguid is the Co-Founder of HQ Consultancy in Egypt and the Founder and Managing Director of Pentapyramid FZ-LLC for Leadership Development in the UAE. His expertise spans Strategic Business Partnership, People Capability Building, Leadership Development and Culture Transformation.

Seddik began his career leading Learning and Management Development for Hilton Taba, Red Sea and Cairo Nile Hilton. He then brought that discipline to the restaurant and hospitality sector at scale, designing integrated HR and management development strategies for more than 40,000 employees, 1,200 outlets and 20 international and regional brands across MENA and the CIS.

Seddik is the author of Building Your Pentapyramid Life, a framework for balance across the five tracks of life: Physical, Spiritual, Social, Professional and Financial.

Sally Shaheen

Sally Shaheen, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of HQ Consultancy

Sally has more than 25 years of experience in human resources management and learning and development. As Managing Partner and Co-Founder of HQ Consultancy, she works as a consultant, assessor and trainer with organisations across the MENA region. Her last corporate role was Human Resources Director in the Talent Management Centre of Excellence of a regional conglomerate with 60,000 employees from 23 nationalities across 13 countries. There she worked on organisation development, HR communication, HR analytics and learning and development, and was a core member of the transformation team during a major acquisition and restructuring.

Sally designs and runs assessment and development centres for selection, development and promotion, combining psychometric tests, case studies, role plays, competency-based interviews, debriefing and coaching. She delivers leadership, functional, train-the-trainer and soft skills workshops for middle managers and executive teams, has facilitated online programmes for international groups as a DDI Facilitator, and speaks at industry conferences on human capital, learning and development, and HR trends.
