The Power of Paradox for Leadership & Team Dynamics, helps leaders manage the competing demands they face every day, such as results and relationships, speed and quality, or stability and change. Participants learn to treat these tensions as strengths to balance rather than problems to solve, so they make clearer decisions, build more resilient teams and communicate more effectively. The programme is practical and workshop-based, so participants leave with tools and solutions they can apply at work the next day.
What is paradoxical leadership? It is the ability to hold two opposing priorities at the same time and draw on both, instead of choosing one and losing the other. Leaders who do this adapt better to complexity and uncertainty.
Why does paradox matter for team dynamics? Teams naturally split between competing preferences, for example structure versus flexibility, or individual accountability versus collaboration. Understanding these tensions turns conflict into constructive discussion and improves team performance.
How can leaders learn to manage competing priorities? Through self-awareness, structured reflection and practical frameworks. The workshop helps participants understand their own leadership tendencies, recognise where they over-rely on one side of a tension, and practise balancing both.

Seddik Abdelmeguid is the Founder and Managing Director of Pentapyramid FZ- LLC for Leadership Development, Co-Founder of HQ Consultancy, Egypt and the Solution Partner of Harrison Assessments International in the MENA Region, based in Dubai, UAE. His expertise spans Strategic Business Partnership, People Capability Building, Leadership Development, and Culture Transformation.
Seddik launched his career at the helm of Learning & Management Development for Hilton Taba, Red Sea, and Cairo Nile Hilton. He then brought that discipline to the restaurant and hospitality sector at scale, architecting integrated HR and management development strategies for over 40,000 employees, 1,200-plus outlets, and 20 international and regional brands across MENA and the CIS regions.
