Description:

Offering neuroscience-based leadership training for corporate teams, MSMEs, sports teams, and families across East Africa and beyond.

Our Green Brain Method (GBM) helps leaders and teams build the social and emotional skills that keep high-performing groups working well together — for HR and people leaders trying to raise team performance, for small business owners who need their people to work as a unit, for coaches building resilient sports teams, and for families wanting healthier communication at home. Where most leadership frameworks tell people what to do and why, GBM's applied neuroscience shows them how — rewiring the brain for real, lasting behavioural change rather than short-lived motivation.

Why does emotional intelligence matter for today's leaders? The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 ranks resilience, leadership, emotional intelligence, empathy, and collaboration among the skills employers will demand most through 2030 — on par with technical and cognitive ability. Teams that can regulate stress and communicate well under pressure consistently outperform those that can't.

How is the Green Brain Method different from typical leadership training? GBM is built on the neuroscience of how the brain actually responds to stress, connection, and reward — not generic soft-skills advice. It's delivered as a half-day, in-person SPARK Session followed by a four-week online embedding phase of short practical "neurohacks," so the change sticks well beyond the workshop itself.

Who is GBM for? Any group whose results depend on how well people communicate and regulate stress together — corporate teams, MSMEs, sports teams, and families alike.

GBM is inspired by Google's Project Aristotle research on what makes teams effective, alongside the WEF's Future of Jobs findings on the skills the future workplace demands. It's led by Dr Abbey Mukasa — a pharmacist by training with clinical research experience at the Makerere University–Johns Hopkins Research Collaboration and a decade as Country Manager at Norbrook Uganda — alongside a facilitation team that includes an ICF-accredited executive coach and a behavioural scientist. Psykey has delivered GBM at scale for organisations including the Uganda Revenue Authority (600 staff across 18 SPARK Sessions) and Stanbic Bank Uganda's Recoveries and Rehabilitation Department.

Who Should Attend:

The Green Brain Method is ideal for HR leaders and executives seeking to raise collaboration and performance across their organisation, and for corporate teams who want a shared, practical language for working well under pressure.

Attendees can expect to leave with concrete tools – neurohacks – for managing high-stakes conversations and keeping their teams in a “Green Brain” state of trust and focus rather than a reactive “Red Brain” state.

MSME owners and small business leaders looking to get more out of a small, close-knit team can benefit from GBM’s focus on team cohesion and resilience, with outcomes including fewer unresolved conflicts and faster, more confident decision-making under pressure.

Coaches and sports teams wanting to build the mental resilience and communication skills that high-performance competition demands will find GBM useful for developing composure under pressure and stronger trust between teammates.

Families looking to build calmer, more connected communication at home can also benefit from the Green Brain Method, coming away with practical techniques for reducing conflict and staying regulated during difficult conversations.
