Description:

The Talk About Trust is offering a CPD Standards half-day workshop (3½ hours) for staff working directly with older teenagers in a variety of settings. The purpose of the session is to increase professional confidence and competence in facilitating conversations around alcohol, cannabis, vaping and nicotine products.

 

There will be a hands-on approach looking in detail at the resources with a strong emphasis on games, activities and social norms, teaching positive approaches and resilience that engage young people around alcohol, cannabis, vaping and other substance use.

 

Each organisation attending the CPD workshop will receive access to the full resource toolkit which includes all materials to support workshops on alcohol, cannabis and vaping for young adults aged 16 25.

 

Depending on which option you select, this will either be:

 

  • Option 1: a hard copy of our Toolkit, which includes an implementation guide, a USB and hard copies of resources, which work in tandem with bespoke PowerPoints, film clips, online activities and support via talkaboutalcohol.com and life-stuff.org, as well as real-time activities for facilitators to use or
  • Option 2: full access to our online resources.


Accredited Activities:

  • Alcohol Cannabis Vaping Workshop and Toolkit for Older Teenagers and Young Adults
Cost for Full CPD Course:
  • Option 1: Workshop and a hard copy of the full resource toolkit is £150 per person – an organisation discount of 40% for groups of 10 or more (£90 per person).
  • Option 2: Workshop with access to online resources (hard copy of the full resource toolkit not included) is £90 per person – an organisation discount of 40% (for groups of 10 or more £54 per person).
This includes all training materials, group discussions, and CPD Standards certification.
