Offering high quality, lived-experience, practitioner and evidence-led training around autism as a specialism and autism in the context of other neurodivergent conditions. Our CPD-accredited courses empower organisations to make affirming changes so that autistic and neurodivergent people can thrive.
Knowing how to effectively support an autistic and neurodiverse community of customers, clients, service users and employees is becoming increasingly pertinent, not only because of the growing number of people becoming aware of their status as autistic and neurodivergent people, but also because of the hidden population who continue to experience barriers in all aspects of life without the awareness, or ability, to advocate for themselves.
We will empower your staff with our training, to make simple and practical changes that will create a lasting and positive impact within your organisation, on a local and personal level. We can work with you to help you achieve your culture, policy and practice change on an organisation-wide scale.
Aûtentic is unique, in that it is autistic-led by Catherine Leggett, combining direct lived experience with over a decade of time-served practitioner experience working for the UK's leading autism charities, and balanced with robust, progressive academic research into best-practice. We understand employers and service providers, and the challenges they face, and we are embedded within the communities that we advocate for and understand what they need.
Our accredited courses are 3 hours in duration and can be delivered in-house, either virtually or on-site as preferred, or offered on a fixed schedule open-access basis.
